Triad Delivers a Great First Impression

December 3, 2009, Houston, TX – “You don’t get a second chance to make a great first impression.” Managers at Forge USA had this on their minds when they learned that a sizeable new business prospect would soon be paying them a visit. At the heart of their concern was Forge USA’s new, top tier machine shop, which was of special interest to their soon-to-arrive guests. With timing and logistics preventing a tour of the impressive new facility, the challenge became how to impress upon their guests the quality and scope of their machining operation’s vast capabilities.

Forge USA contacted Triad Business Marketing and ran the situation past senior account executive Casey Fleming. “If we can’t bring them to the machine shop,” said Casey, “we’ll bring the machine shop to them.” Video shoot on. With less than two weeks to deliver a high-quality documentation of Forge USA’s machining capabilities, the Triad team went to work. While Casey toured the facility for shot sequence arrangement, creative director Julie Gardner penned a technically accurate script highlighting the impressive machinery housed within the operation. Two days of nonstop shooting were followed by a flurry of intense post production and voiceover mixing. The final cut was in the hands of Forge USA well before their guests arrived and played a valuable role in the success of their new business presentation.

Triad Business Marketing Rolls Tape Inside Workhorse.

March 18, 2009, Vicksburg, MS – When Dallas-based Hayata needed the perfect location to shoot footage of its heavy-duty product line, Triad Business Marketing had an idea.  What better place to document the capabilities of Hayata’s stainless steel cable ties and banding than on an offshore rig?

Receiving permission to bring video and photography crews onto a rig is never an easy task, but through Triad’s oil and gas industry contacts, a plan-of-action quickly began to unfold. A short two weeks later, members of Triad joined Hayata in Vicksburg, MS, site of LTI Offshore Products’ shipyard.  Triad had been granted access to shoot in and around the shipyard, and was given the rare opportunity to capture footage from inside a “Workhorse” rig currently under construction.

Since shooting was limited to a single day, efficiency was key.  Casey Fleming, Senior Account Executive with Triad, kept things moving while providing crucial direction to the video and photography crews.  Early afternoon found the team of seven ascending a narrow strip of stairs, arms full of equipment, toward the rig’s decking.  Once inside, locations were scouted and the final stages of the shoot began.  By day’s end, the team had captured Hayata’s product line in its true environment.  With an enormous amount of high-quality footage collected, the team headed back towards Dallas.  Next stop, Triad’s creative department.
